It's true what they say time flies when you're having fun! And this past year married to Travis has been exactly that! Of course we've had our highs and lows, but everyday I truly love him more and more, and am so grateful, not only to God for putting Travis in my life, but also for everything we've been able to accomplish this year together with the Lord’s help.
To celebrate we decided to take a staycation to park city! Neither of us had really ever been there so we were both excited to explore.

Our first night we just took it easy and hung out at the hotel. I surprised Trav with some smores marshmallows skewers and an anniversary card I couldn't resist buying at the grocery store. Especially since we make smores for dessert all the time!

The next day we walked up and down all the clothing boutiques and art galleries, ate lunch at 501 on Main and my favorite part by far was visiting the Park City Museum. The museum is full of so many neat stories about the history of park city, like the miners who established the town, the many fires that destroyed the city, and even the cities original jail which is in the basement of the museum! We had way too much fun exploring that place!

After a hot tub break back at the hotel we then went out to dinner at one of my new favorite restaurants Vinto Pizzeria. They're thin crust pizzas are the real deal made in a stone fire oven! The bruschetta was delish and the gelato with strawberry shortcake and candied orange peels I had was to die for!!!! I'd drive all the way to park city just for that place! And of course, I just haaaaaad to bed Travis for a ride on the trolley <3

Our last day in park city we checked out of the hotel and spent it shopping at the outlet mall! We really took advantage of those Mother’s day specials and spoiled ourselves a bit, we totally deserved it! Especially since Trav has been working so hard his first semester at BYU. Overall, it was a rainy weekend in Park City, but a great staycation celebrating our anniversary <3
