This weekend was full of some much needed fun as we visited several amazing houses in the Parade of Homes and hung out in Pleasant Grove for Strawberry Days! It had been a while since I’d been to the parade of homes and a first for Travis, so when a friend offered us free tickets, I instantly said yes! We saw some pretty spectacular houses and got a ton of decor ideas as we dream of one day (in the distant future) buying our first home. But by far the home to beat was a 17,000 sq ft home in Alpine. This house had everything and anything you could imagine in it! A game room with a pool table and hockey table, a theater, bowling alley with 2 lanes and decked out in super hero murals, a foam pit and rock wall, a music room with a stage, a fitness room equipped with showers and a sauna, a pool house with lockers and even a water slide! I didn’t even know so much awesomeness could fit under one roof! We are obviously in no way close to being millionaire anytime soon, but it doesn’t hurt to dream! :)

After our house hunting adventure we headed to Pleasant Grove where we enjoyed the best grilled cheese sandwiches at Cravings Bistro and cupcakes from Cravings Alicia’s Cupcakes who won cupcake wars and tasted her winning cupcake which was to die for!!!

Then I put on my cowboy hat and we were off to the rodeo, my first actually, and it was the most entertaining 4 hours of my life! From the kids trying to ride sheep, to the bucking bronco’s and bull-riders, it was awesome! We ate some of Pleasant Groves famous Strawberries n’ cream and in the end was the firework show. After that we made a midnight run to Sonics before getting home and collapsing from all the fun we had this weekend!

p.s. I got a drastic make-over! I haven’t had my hair this short since the 1st grade! But I’m loving it <3
