I love surprises, not just receiving, but surprising others! That's also why I love birthdays so much, and it was Trav's 23rd. Since I don't get off work until 8 pm there wasn't much of a surprise I could give him since he's home before me. But luckily we had a friend over and I was able to get him to leave our apt with Travis while I sneaked home to set up balloons, a Happy Birthday Sign and put a candle on a cupcake for him. I turned out all the light, and when they walked back in, I came out of our bedroom with the lit up cupcake, SURPRISE!!! It was the best I could do in such short notice.

We didn't do much that day, but Trav was able to get his birthday present- a rifle. He cleaned it up and then we went to Walmart so he could get a couple things for a hunting trip his buddy Benjamin was taking him on for his birthday the next day. While the boys went hunting I gladly slept in and once back I treated him to a yummy Spanish Torta and sausage breakfast! Exhausted from his 3 am coyote hunting excursion, he took a nap while I got ready for the day. We went to Indian Palace for dinner, our favorite place to get curry, and then we just cruised down Center st and hung out. It was there that we ran into this nifty little loft called the Soap Factory. You get to make your own soap, bath bombs, lotions, lip balms and more! So we decided to try it out! We made a pineapple shaped coconut pineapple soap, a brain shaped grapefruit soap, and a soap that smelled like roast beef for Jim's (Trav's dad) birthday this Wednesday! hahaha! All in all it was a chill and much needed time with each other this weekend. I feel like I barely see Trav with my new job so I take advantage of every minute I get on the weekends <3

"So HBD shout out to the stud with the biggest heart ❤️ Trav would never brag about the things he's done, but that doesn't mean that I can't! Late night runs to give priesthood blessings, early morning drives to West Valley to help his parents with chores, and not many know this, but he sold several of his favorite guitars to purchase my wedding ring💍! I couldn't of asked for a better lover and friend! I love you Travis!"
