It’s President’s Day weekend! And since our significant others were at work, Nathaly and I decided to take a girl’s road-trip down south to Mystic Hot Springs! We ate snacks, jammed out to Beyonce, and enjoyed the view of the snow-capped mountains as we drove down the wide-open road.

By far one of the coolest and most beautiful places I’ve ever been! It’s tucked away in a small town called Monroe and owned by a couple who, on top of maintaining the hot spring tubs, also rent out cabins and buses that are decked out with beds, bathrooms, and kitchenette’s for campers. The grounds are all very earthy and have a hippy vibe and the surroundings are super peaceful, with only the sound of birds and ducks which live in a nearby pond on the grounds. The tubs have varying temperatures, going from warm to hot as you get closer to the source of the spring. Mineral deposits as the water trickles out of the ground, creating mesmerizing rock formations in bright orange and red hues. There’s a couple bon fire areas and local artists frequent the springs to perform for those soaking, something we’ll have to check out another time! It’s just the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature that surrounds you. Definitely one of Utah’s hidden gems!
