This trimester really did come and go! I was kept busy with Liam and I's birthdays which are both a week apart in January. I threw Liam the cutest Two Fast Two Curious themed birthday party as he has a mega obsession with cars. His favorite gift this birthday, besides the play kitchen from mom & dad, were a toy vacuum and tractor (of course)!

For my birthday we went on a little staycation to Orderville, Utah. We stayed in a cute little "treehouse" resort and explored the town. We hiked through a sand cave, went sand sledding at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, visited some local rock shops and drove through Zion National Park! It really was such a great birthday weekend spent with the ones I love most.

The baby bump is finally starting to make an appearance. The gaggyness and aversion to meat has gone away and instead been replaced with lower back pain, SPD and heartburn. With Liam I didn't feel these symptoms until my 3rd trimester, but the midwife explained that with each pregnancy symptoms usually come along sooner. After our 20 week ultrasound we finally got our first real look at the baby. We did a gender reveal the Sunday after my Friday ultrasound on March 6th and were so anxious to find out the sex of the baby. Everyone was guessing that it'd be a girl and I was trying to not let that sway my opinion, but deep down I was loving the idea of having one of each and even wore pink eyeshadow and socks. Travis, in the other hand, thought it was going to be another boy because my pregnancy has been so similar to Liam's. After popping our gender reveal balloon we were both shocked to find out the guesses were right and we'll be having a little baby girl joining our family! The excitement was surreal, I know we'd be happy either way, but I am so ready to tip the scales and not be the only female in the household haha! Bring on the bows, pinks and florals!
